Hi All!

It's been suggested to me several times that I put some of my photography online. I considered it and dismissed it initially. But now, I've given more thought to it and decided "what the heck!". I can use it as a way to raise some funds for the Red Cross. So I will be selling prints of the images you will find on this page, and a portion of each purchase ($1.00) will be donated to the Red Cross to help in their ongoing efforts to help others. (The rest will probably end up at McDonald's!)

I will be adding more as I go along. I've got a lot of available images, but only a little time to prepare them for presentation here. I hope you enjoy my work. Leave me a note @ my blog and let me know? Thanks!

PREMONITION

A little background: I took this picture of the World Trade Center in 1980 in New York City. It is a single exposure. No digital tricks or manipulations are involved. It shows the Twin Towers in a plate glass window's reflection (back over my shoulder- to give some perspective). There are many other reflections apparent, as well as seeing through the building I was standing in front of to the street on the other side. At the time, I thought "what a great shot!" (I excite easily.) My Dad thought so, too. So I gave him the print I made (I was doing my own color processing in the dark room at school. Well, since then, I've lost the negative. So this print is from a scan of the picture hanging on my Dad's wall. And except when I'd go over my Dad's and marvel at the photograph and its clever composition, I hadn't given this shot much thought. But this is the shot that everyone says I should make available. Originally I called it WTC 1980 (Snappy, huh?).

But the events of September 11th, 2001 have really had a way of putting things in a different context. Post 9-11, this shot really takes on new meaning; so I've renamed it "Premonition". It's kind of spooky in that light.

COMING SOON:

"NAN'S MARBLES"

I will add more shots as I get a chance to do so.

Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoy what you see!
