A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Blog thing...

Well,
This has got to start somewhere. Later on, we'll get deeper and more superficial or whatever the day calls for. But for now, here we go... Today we went to see The hitchiker's Guide To The galaxy. We have one thumb up and one down. I enjoyed it (6 out of 10) and my wife hated it. I've read the books and had an advantage. She just wasn't able to follow it. And I can see where' she's coming from. It was true to the books, mostly.

Couldn't have popcorn or treats, though as Karenis on a diet, so we watched it "commando", with naked laps.

Supposedly the movie started at 2:15 PM. After the trailers and commercials, and "entertaining" snippets from various TV series, it was actually 2:45 before the movie began. Good thing we rushed to get there in time, huh?

So, if you've read the books, you basically HAVE TO go see the movie, but only because you've been waiting for it for years already. If you haven't read the series, don't waste your time.
